During the first day lage number of speakers participated and discussed knowledgeable points against the three laws. They dicussed how these farm laws passed by using undemocratic practices and how these laws will devastate the rural economy.

According to a farmers leader these laws will lead to the end of the existing mandi system and MSP procurement. It will result in farmers, agricultural labourers and mandi workers being deprived of their jobs. And when the private mandis come, replacing the government mandis, their infrastructure will only benefit big Corporate houses Ambani-Adani, not farmers.
